For the past few years we've been using jumbo sized crayons for Colin. I did that because he kept trying to eat them and this helped, slightly. The other day I realized he probably uses regular crayons in school and maybe it's time for big boy crayons.
I took them out after nap time but Colin was upstairs with Ryan. So I took them for a test drive. I know it's terrible that I didn't let Colin christen them, but I really have never been able to resist brand new crayons. They are just so bright and beautiful. Jasper usually wants nothing to do with crayons, other than snacking, but he too gave them a shot. I don't think I used them up too much, chances are Colin won't even notice what a jerk I am.
Jasper has a very short attention span these days, so coloring was boring after about 2 minutes.
I see people feeding their kids whole pieces of pizza, fruit, cheese, chips, all the time. So today I tried out a whole piece of pizza with Jasper. He chewed on it forever, it was very cute. I think he really liked it. I liked it until he shoved the entire thing into his mouth. We'll have to hold off on whole pieces for now. Actually, he gnawed on an entire pear yesterday and that wasn't so bad, but I won't do that with anything he can actually shove in.
Do you notice anything chunky funny about this picture?
Peek-a-boo.
Colin loves to see himself in videos, so we've been taking more of him. This one includes a very disheveled me. In my defense, I'm a slob and I pulled a muscle in my back, so fixing my hair was on the back burner. The back thing is just a bad excuse, I don't groom too much at home. Note that Colin is eating strawberries. Thats one of the things he'll eat. I never thought our guy that we had to hold food back from would become so picky.
Please enjoy this snippet of our monsters wrestling. And no, we don't usually have both boys in here and actually only use the pack n play for naps. In case you were wondering.
Looks like we have a warmup on our hands, so enjoy the beautiful weather.
